We have many ways you can get involved in the festival whether you want to participate in our events or create your own.

Join the Procession on Sunday 5 April 2020?

Declaration of Arbroath 2020 Peoples Procession is a people powered event.

All the community are invited to get involved and join the creating and being part on the day.

This procession is an inclusive event organised to celebrate the inspirational history of Arbroath.

We are holding a non-political event and encourage people to join us in the spirit of freedom, unity and peace.

We welcome interest from groups outside of the Arbroath area who may have a historical connection to the Declaration of Arbroath, as a direct descendants or clan.

The procession is open to all however we kindly ask people to register their interest in taking part so that we can produce a fabulous, enjoyable and safe event for all to enjoy.

The Choral celebration will be made up of choirs from Angus, if you are not a member of a choir but would like to get involved please register your interest below.

Would you like to submit an event takin place in Arbroath to the website?

Arbroath 2020 programme is made up of many different contributions of varying scale.

We would love to include your event on the Arbroath 2020 website and are happy to share the 2020 logo, give advice and support on your local event.

Apply to the Fund for Angus Artists

The Arbroath 2020 Festival is offering project grants of between £250 and £1000 to artists who have an idea that they would like to develop and realise under the banner of the 2020 Festival.

The fund is a total of £10,000 and will be distributed through two meetings, one in November and the other in February.

Your idea should evolve in to a project that will be embraced by the 2020 Festival and should be realised between April and September 2020 and the public outcome should take place in Arbroath within these dates.

The Fund for Angus Artists is open to artists working in all disciplines and who are living and working in Angus. Applications: 

There will be two deadlines for applications:

Monday November 18th 5pm

Monday February 10th 5pm

The second round of Fund for Angus Artists will open for applications on 17 December through online application portal
